ST. LOUIS, MO. – Morningside’s final match before returning to Sioux City pitted the Mustangs against (RV) Missouri Baptist. The Mustangs split the six singles matches with the Spartans, but Missouri Baptist’s sweep of doubles gave it a 4-3 advantage.
FULTON, MO. – The Mustangs continue to challenge themselves in hopes of better preparing for their conference schedule, playing William Woods in Fulton, Mo. yesterday. Morningside fell to the no. 6 Owls by a score of 5-2.
SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NEB. – The Mustang men completed the sweep of the spring home opener weekend today, defeating the Carleton College Knights 5-2.
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – Morningside’s men’s tennis team lept into its spring schedule with a pair of wins against National Collegiate Athletic Association opponents as the Mustangs made easy work of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in an 8-1 win before slugging out a 5-4 win over Coe.
