SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Morningside women’s wrestling freshman Callee Shearer was named Tuesday on the Great Plains Athletic Conference honorable mention list.
CRETE, Neb. – The Mustangs had a tall task ahead of them in this year’s Great Plains Athletic Conference Women’s Wrestling Duals Day, as Morningside’s injury-plagued lineup faced the top three teams in the league. Callee Shearer and Kelise Cook-Krivohlavek represented the only Mustangs to get wins on the day as Morningside went 0-3 against Hastings, Doane, and Midland.
FAYETTE, Iowa – Morningside saw successes up and down its lineup in a women’s wrestling triangular hosted by Upper Iowa University. The Mustangs toppled Luther 18-16 and fell to the host Peacocks 24-15.
