Mustangs suffer pair of setbacks at Dakota Wesleyan

MITCHELL, S.D. — Morningside's young women's wrestling squad gained more dual experience with a pair of matches at Dakota Wesleyan tonight, falling to Buena Vista 19-15 in non-conference action and Dakota Wesleyan 30-10 in Great Plains Athletic Conference competition. 

Alyssa Olson and Callee Shearer both picked up wins over the Beavers via forfeit and Baylie Wehmeyer won her match at 160 pounds via a fall in 4:37. 

Shearer and Elizabeth Rubio picked up forfeit wins over the Tigers. 

The Mustangs are back on the mat on January 30 at Upper Iowa before going to Augsburg on January 31.
