JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Freshman Courtney Sporrer led the Mustang women to a fifth place finish at the Great Plains Athletic Conference cross country meet in Jamestown, North Dakota Saturday morning.
YANKTON, S.D. – Morningside’s women’s cross country team took to the course in one final tune up before the 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference meet, running the course at Yankton’s Fox Run Golf Course.
NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. – The Mustangs had a strong performance across the board as they competed in the Briar Cliff Cross Country Invitational this weekend. Morningside’s women finished third among the teams, trailing Dordt and South Dakota State.
LINCOLN, NEB. – The Mustangs knew that they were going to face tough competition as they prepared for the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational cross country meet, hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Morningside responded to the pressure, though, and placed seventh in the Gold division of the meet, which consisted of similarly sized competitors.
