The senior combination of Kristine Honomichl (Westminster, Colo.) and Jo McKibben (Mapleton, Iowa) added more first ten individual marks to their already-burgeoning resumes. Honomichl placed seventh, marking the third time this season and sixth such effort over the last two seasons, while McKibben battled for champion honors, clocking an 18:50.28 to place second behind Dordt University's Jessica Kampman in the 129-competitor field at Fox Run Golf Course. McKibben's runner-up status was the second time she placed third or better in the last three meets.
Senior Tenna Beel (Stanton, Neb.) was next in line for head coach Dave Nash's team. She wound up 25th. Junior Sarah Bosch (Ankeny, Iowa) was just outside the best 50, crossing 54th.
Mside ran to 113 points, good for fourth in the 10-team field. They were just nine points removed from being in the first three. Next weekend, the Mustangs break from competition for preparations for the 2021 GPAC meet scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5, at Northwestern College.
