Women's Cross Country Places Five on NAIA Scholar-Athlete List

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women's cross country, releasing this year's list alongside the other fall sports.
Morningside had five athletes named to this year's women's cross country list: Taylor Cole, Nicole Zuehl, Gabby Ryan, Courtney Sporrer, and Jolee Mesz.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
