Sporrer leads Mustangs to third-place finish at Briar Cliff Invite

Courtney Sporrer led the Mustangs with a 6,000-meter time of 22 minutes, 48 seconds, good for third place. Sporrer, a junior, was the leader among NAIA schools that competed.
Junior London Rogge was 18th with a time of 24:40, while junior Nicole Zuehl finished two places and nine seconds behind.
Gabby Ryan, a sophomore, placed 27th in 25:12. Senior Paige Padavich was 43rd (25:54), and sophomore Jillian Fierro was 48th (26:24).
Freshman Lillian Dahlhauser was 58th (27:01), and junior Ella Stapek was 64th (27:43).
Concordia won the team competition with 33 points. Northwestern tied with the Mustangs with 82 points.
