"The season opener for the women went well. As a whole they ran together pretty well," reflected first-year head coach Frank Wallace. "There is work to do in closing the gaps, but overall it's a step in the right direction. Coach Ehlers and Coach Chilton have been doing an awesome job getting the athletes dialed in and ready for this meet."
Morningside is back in action in two weeks, competing in the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invite on Sept. 17, hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Neb.
