Mustangs drop four-setter at Waldorf
FOREST CITY, Iowa — Despite a strong start, the Morningside women’s volleyball team fell in four sets to Waldorf on Wednesday night, 25-16, 27-29, 21-25, 22-25.

FOREST CITY, Iowa — Despite a strong start, the Morningside women's volleyball team fell in four sets to Waldorf on Wednesday night, 25-16, 27-29, 21-25, 22-25.
The Mustangs hit .204 as a team and produced four players in double-digit kills. Victoria Bouska led the way with 13 kills on .290 hitting and added three block assists. Emma Haren followed with 11 kills, three aces and 16 digs, while Payten Lode finished with 12 kills, eight digs and an ace. Adelyn Harris and Jacey Miller each tallied six kills, with Harris hitting a team-best .400 and adding 1.5 total blocks.
Setter Kyla Dyrstad handed out 40 assists and recorded six digs, and libero Aubrey Sandbothe paced the back row with 17 digs and two aces.
