Marlow Earns 2024's First Player of the Week Honor

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Sydney Marlow has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Attacker of the Week for week 1 of the season, the league announced today.

The honor comes following a 4-0 stretch for the Mustangs, who are 7-1 overall. Marlow led Morningside's attack across the four-game stretch, averaging 4.23 kills per set while hitting .400. Away from the net, she averaged 2.38 digs per set, tallied nine service aces, and had just one service error in 13 sets.

The Mustangs are back on the court tomorrow, when they travel to Dakota State University for a 7 p.m. contest.
