Sporrer Repeats as Steeplechase All-American
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Courtney Sporrer claimed All-America honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the second time in as many seasons, placing fourth in the event at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Courtney Sporrer claimed All-America honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the second time in as many seasons, placing fourth in the event at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
Sporrer crossed the line in a personal record time of 10:44.65, knocking nearly 11 seconds off her qualifying time of 10:55.47, which was a season best.
By virtue of finishing in the top eight spots in the race, Sporrer earns NAIA and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America honors.
