Alt's bronze in long jump leads Mustangs at Mount Marty

YANKTON, S.D. — The Morningside University women's outdoor track and field team earned six Top 10 finishes Wednesday at the Mount Marty Twilight Meet.
Kinsey Alt had the highest placing, as she was third in the long jump. She jumped 16 feet, 10 inches on her fourth attempt.
The 1,600-meter relay team of Ella Stapek, Abbie McLaughlin, Gabby Ryan, and Lillian Dahlhauser crossed the finish line in fourth place with a time of 5 minutes, 17.08 seconds.
In the 5,000-meter race, London Rogge and Ryan were eighth and ninth. Rogge's time was 19:44.65, while Ryan ran it in 19:47.90.
Meredith Draper was ninth in the 100-meter dash, running it in 12.08 seconds.
Jacee Tindall was sixth in the javelin throw with her longest throw measured at 105-1.
