Four Mustangs head to NAIA Nationals in pair of events
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics unveiled the qualifying field for the 2025 Women’s Indoor Track and Field National Championship, officially announcing a pair of qualifying events for the Mustangs.

Morningside's 4x800-meter relay team of Jolee Mesz, Morgan Sachs, Nicole Zuehl, and Courtney Sporrer enter the field ranked no. 20, with a seed time of 9:36.55. The Mustangs will compete in prelims on Feb. 27, with the race scheduled for 2:45 p.m.
Sporrer also qualified individually in the 800-meter run, where she currently ranks no. 12 with a time of 2:17.26. The 800-meter preliminary heats are scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on Feb. 28.
This year's national championship is held at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Fla.
