O'Roy's fourth career score, assisted by a perfectly placed corner kick from junior midfielder Merel Kooji (Rockanje Zuid, Netherlands), kept thoughts of a home side comeback in the minds of the Elwood Olsen Stadium crowd. However, Briar Cliff University's unbeaten surge through the Great Plains Athletic Conference, already buoyed by three goals in the first 80 minutes, was cemented with another successful offensive attempt in the 86th minute to close out a 4-1 final.
