Women's golf wraps up fall schedule in Indiana
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Mustangs were consistent at The Saints Classic at Warren Golf Course Monday and Tuesday, shooting a 329 and 330 each day to place sixth out of nine teams in Notre Dame, Indiana.
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Mustangs were consistent at The Saints Classic at Warren Golf Course Monday and Tuesday, shooting a 329 and 330 each day to place sixth out of nine teams in Notre Dame, Indiana.
Indiana Wesleyan, Grace, and Bethel took the top three spots in the tournament. The Mustangs were fifth after the first day, but Huntington jumped Morningside with a strong round to take the fifth spot.
Sofia Castelan tied for fifth at 14-over. Castelan shot a 76 in the first round and an 80 in the second round. Lucy Brown placed solo 15th, shooting a pair of 81's. Aidan Sander placed 23rd scoring 169 and Lauren Carr tied for 28th scoring a 172. Alysen Sander shot a 175 and Ainsley Hergert scored a 178.
The Mustangs concluded their fall slate Tuesday. They start up again in February.
