Nine women named to NCBCA scholar-athlete list

The National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association announced its scholar-athletes for the 2024 season.

Morningside had nine athletes named to this year's list, Alexa Munhofen, Carissa Johnson, Elana Krutsinger, Morgan Roark, Rachel Spier, Samantha Schiefen, Emaly Kruse, Riley Howard, and Zara Bitsos. 

The NCBCA is the professional membership organization for college bowling coaches, assistant coaches, club advisors, and student leaders. The NCBCA's three main priorities are to serve as the voice of the membership to USBC Collegiate, to vote on the NCBCA Coaches Team Poll, and to vote on the NCBCA All-American and other prestigious awards.
