The Warriors were just what the Mustangs needed, as Morningside put together three strong quarters to close out the contest 66-54.

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – For three quarters, the Mustangs had the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics no. 1 team in women’s basketball up against the ropes, leading Dordt’s Defenders through 30 minutes of play. Dordt looked more like an undefeated team in the final frame, forcing overtime, where it opened up a 77-70 lead by the end of the period.
