Softball drops pair of contests at USD

Jenna Skradski was the only Mustang to record two hits in game 1. Paige Schuster, Jalyn Noelle, and Ellie Gengler all also recorded hits.
Adeline Fliege gave up four runs on six hits in an abbreviated two-inning outing. Bralen Biddlecome finished the contest, surrendering another pair of runs on six more hits.
Schuster and Noelle recorded the lone hits in game two, while Morgan Secora surrendered a pair of runs in the circle. Jordan Skradski came in in relief, giving up four earned runs as the contest ended 8-0.
Morningside returns to Great Plains Athletic Conference play on April 19, hosting Dordt at 1 p.m. The Mustangs will host Waldorf in their home finale on April 22 before ending the regular season on the road at Dakota Wesleyan.
