Kennedee Jones earned GPAC Player of the Week honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Morningside picked up its second GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Player of the Week award of the season, as Kennedee Jones is this week's honoree. 

Jones, a junior from Ankeny, Iowa, was a force at the plate in the Mustangs' doubleheader against College of Saint Mary. Jones went 4-for-6 with a home run and three RBI. She also didn't commit an error in 10 opportunities with nine punch outs and one assist. 

Jones and the Mustangs have four games this week, two at Hastings Thursday night and two at home against Dakota Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.
