Mustangs cross the finish line together at Sunflower Opener
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Mustangs finished in a group Saturday in Sioux Center, as the top sixth Mustangs finished within 90 seconds of each other at the Dordt Holiday Inn Sunflower Opener.
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Mustangs finished in a group Saturday in Sioux Center, as the top sixth Mustangs finished within 90 seconds of each other at the Dordt Holiday Inn Sunflower Opener.
The Mustangs placed sixth as a team, led by Garrett Hanson (27:28.24) and RC Hicks (27:35.54) placing 33rd and 35th respectively. The next two Mustangs, Mason Welker (28:08.56) and Parker Halder (28:08.94), finished back-to-back in 44th and 45th respectively. Behind them was Nick Schiltz and Austin Ramold, crossing the finish line in 28:32.04 and 28:41.2.
The Mustangs run again Sept. 22 at the Wayne State Classic.
