JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Senior Levi Son led the Mustangs to a ninth place finish in the men’s 8k run at the Great Plains Athletic Conference cross country meet in Jamestown, N.D. Saturday morning.
YANKTON, S.D. – You could find the Mustangs competing on a course nestled into the rolling hills of Yankton, S.D. in one final tune up before the 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships in the first week of November. The Mustangs placed 10th of 12 teams competing in the contest.
SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – The Mustangs ran in the 8K Dordt Holiday Inn Classic this weekend in men’s cross country. Placing 12th as a team, Morningside attacked the course complete with tight bends and long hills, finishing with total time of 2:20:49.16.
NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. – The Mustangs had a strong performance across the board as they competed in the Briar Cliff Cross Country Invitational this weekend. Morningside’s men finished sixth among the teams competing in the event.
LINCOLN, NEB. – As the starter’s gun fired and the competitors took off across the rolling hills of Mahoney Park Golf Course, Morningside’s men’s cross country team was focused on the task at hand. Running side-by-side with the likes of Nebraska and Kansas State, the Mustangs finished 18th as a team among the non-Division I competitors of the Nebraska Wesleyan and University of Nebraska-Lincoln Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Mustangs opened the men's cross country season last night, running a four mile course at the Augustana Twilight Cross Country Meet. Morningside placed 30th in the competitive field, with Mason Welker claiming the top spot for the Mustangs, finishing in 22:09.11.
