Eggleston, Ernst lead Mustangs at GPAC Duals

As a team, the Mustangs fell in all three duals to the Tigers, Hastings, and Concordia.
Morningside vs. Hastings
141 — Josue Munoz scored all seven of his points during the third period to gain a 7-2 win, and get the Mustangs on the board.
149 — Eggleston, ranked 10th nationally, won by forfeit.
165 —Ernst, ranked third in his weight class, earned a 21-5 technical fall, beating his opponent in 5 minutes, 45 seconds.
184 — Joseph Monge recorded four separate takedowns during the third period en rout to a 16-4 major decision.
Morningside vs. Concordia
149 — Eggleston took down his opponent early, and won 5-3 for the Mustangs' first points of this dual.
165 — Ernst also had a first-period takedown, as well as two points in the third, to win 8-2.
Morningside vs. Doane
149 — Eggleston recorded the only Mustang victory by pinfall, as he downed his opponent on the mat in 1 minute, 27 seconds.
165 — Ernst collected a takedown in each period, good for a 12-5 victory.
