Head coach Jake Stevenson's Mustangs picked up 30 poll points to sit at No. 27, up one from their No. 28 listing on the preseason register. Morningside wraps up the pre-Christmas section of its 2021-22 schedule Saturday, Dec. 11, competing at the Buena Vista University Open.
Junior 125-pounder Evan Shell (Fort Collins, Colo.) (No. 18); junior 133-pounder Taylor Vazquez (Fountain, Colo.) (No. 17); junior 149-pounder John Diener (Kaukauna, Wis.) (No. 6); and sophomore 197-pounder Hunter De Jong (Sibley, Iowa) (No. 17) represented the Mustangs among the individual listings.
