Nine Mustangs named to men's track and field NAIA Scholar-Athlete list
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for men's outdoor track and field, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Marion, Ind.
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for men's outdoor track and field, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Marion, Ind.
Morningside had nine athletes land on this year's list, Adam Fillipi, Austin Freiberg, Austin Ramold, Casey Kruger, Davon Brees, John Groetken, Mason Welker, RC Hicks, and Tom Moss.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
