Mustangs' speed on display at Prairie Wolf Invite

Austin Freiberg earned the top spot in the 110-meter hurdles, leaning to a 14.34 second time at the line.
Ashton Banker took the runner up spot in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 21.68 seconds.
David Hernandez was the top finisher for Morningside in the 400-meter hurdles, completing the lap in 57.60 seconds.
Tyler Janssen ran a 2:01.49 in the 800-meter run, taking ninth place on the track. Transitioning to the javelin runway, he took fourth, throwing 44.27 meters.
Janssen was joined on the runway by Keyan Fulton, who threw for sixth place with a distance of 43.84 meters, and Tom Moss, who took 10th with a toss of 39.83 meters.
Morningside showed off more speed in the relay events, with the relay team of Jared Nicholas, Banker, Davon Brees, and Freiberg taking second in the 4x100-meter relay in 42.57 seconds.
In the 4x400-meter relay, the "B" team took fifth with a time of 3:42.47, run by Parker Halder, Casey Kruger, RC Hicks, and Tanner Arens. The "C" team took seventh, with a time of 3:52.41, run by Chayton Rowe, Rodrigo Lopez, Austin Ramold, and Mason Welker.
The Mustangs now turn their focus to the GPAC championship meet, held May 5 and 6 at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa.
