Moseman, Riedemann lead Mustangs at GPAC Indoors

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — The Morningside men's track and field team pieced together points across sprints, hurdles and distance events to finish seventh at the GPAC Indoor Championships with 18 team points.
Theo Moseman led the way with a third-place finish in the 400 meters in 49.92 seconds. The junior's first 200-meter split was the fastest of the two, crossing the halfway mark in 23.21 seconds.
The Mustangs also found success in the short sprints. Lynx Gregoire clocked 6.99 seconds in the 60-meter finals to place fifth. Boston Riedemann contributed in the 60-meter hurdles, advancing through prelims in sixth place before finishing fifth in the final in 8.53 seconds.
In distance action, the 4x800-meter relay team of Braden Sonksen, Logan Stowater, Jaelonni Small and Laken Bellis battled to a fifth-place finish in 8:13.75.
