Moseman Takes Top Spot at Bulldog Early Bird Meet
SEWARD, Neb. — The Morningside University men’s track and field team opened the indoor season with several strong performances at the Bulldog Early Bird Meet on Friday and Saturday at the Walz Fieldhouse.
SEWARD, Neb. — The Morningside University men's track and field team opened the indoor season with several strong performances at the Bulldog Early Bird Meet on Friday and Saturday at the Walz Fieldhouse.
Junior Theo Moseman led the Mustangs with a victory in the 600 meters, winning the event in 1:21.84. Moseman also added a solid showing in the 400 meters, placing third with a time of 50.39.
In the middle distances, Braden Sonksen recorded a runner-up finish in the 800 meters, crossing the line in 2:01.11. Parker Halder paced the Mustangs in the mile, finishing fifth with a time of 4:32.22.
Morningside also turned in a competitive effort in the distance events, as Eein McKinley placed ninth in the 3,000 meters in 9:26.03.
Morningside will look to build on the opening weekend as the indoor season continues in 2026.
