The highlight of the day for the Mustangs was Blake Brown's performance in the 60-meters. Brown broke his own school record in the event twice Saturday, first in the prelims where he ran 6.87 for the fastest time of the prelims, then again in the finals.
Brown ran 6.85 for second in the finals. His thousandth time of 6.842 beat out Marcus Jnofinn of Mount Marty (6.845) for the silver. The 6.85 is fast enough for the NAIA 'B' Standard.
