10 Mustangs, Men's Tennis receive ITA academic honors
TEMPE, ARIZ. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has released its annual academic awards for the 2024-25 season, naming 10 Mustangs ITA Scholar-Athletes as well as listing Morningside as an ITA All-Academic Team.
TEMPE, ARIZ. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has released its annual academic awards for the 2024-25 season, naming 10 Mustangs ITA Scholar-Athletes as well as listing Morningside as an ITA All-Academic Team for the fourth consecutive season.
Alexander Castillo, Mark Trenkle, Chris Wailes, Dalton Polesky, Joao Pedro Pierry Izoldi Costa, Abhishek Mohapatra, Rodrigo Iraheta, Alexis Diaz, Mathys Arnold, and Jesse Gerth all received individual academic honors.
The ITA honored 186 NAIA men's tennis athletes and 23 programs in the release.
In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and appear on the eligibility certificate. All-Academic teams are required to maintain a 3.2 GPA.
