Mustangs prevail as GPAC leaders clash at Concordia
SEWARD, NEB. - The Mustangs got a look at a Concordia Bulldog team that aims to stand between Morningside and repeating as Great Plains Athletic Conference champions in Seward, Neb. today. The visiting team came out on top in the slugfest, winning the GPAC match 4-3.

Morningside had work to do to overcome an early deficit as Concordia won the doubles point. Mathys Arnold and Jesse Gerth got themselves a win in the no. 3 slot, preventing the Mustangs from getting swept with a 6-3 victory.
It was the lower four positions that got the Mustangs the team win, as Alexis Diaz won at no. 3, 6-3, 6-2; Santiago Minetti won 6-1, 6-1 at no. 4; Mathys Arnold won at no. 5, 6-2, 6-1; and Jesse Gerth won in the no. 6 position 6-1, 6-1.
Morningside wraps up the month as the men host Northwestern on Monday, March 31, at 2 p.m.
