Two Mustangs named to Academic All-District list for men's swimming

GREENWOOD, IND. – Two Morningside men's swimmers landed on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the CSC announced earlier this week. John Spicer and Alejandro Plaza represented the Mustangs on the team.

The duo advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the All-America teams announced later this month.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success in the pool and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and participate in at least five meets or place in the top eight at a conference meet.
