Wesselkaemper named GPAC Player of the Week

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A pair of game-winning goals in this week's conference matches has landed Bennet Wesselkaemper this week's Great Plains Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor for men's soccer.

The senior midfielder netted the difference-maker in Wednesday's conference opener at Hastings and led off the scoring deluge in Morningside's 5-0 win over Doane on Saturday. On the week the pair of goals came in just four shots-on-goal and five total shots.
