ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Two Top 5 finishes for the Morningside University men’s golf team helped it finish third Wednesday at the Raider Spring Invitational.
CAMDENTON, MO. – Morningside’s men’s golf team placed eighth as they opened the week in Missouri, competing in The Verhille Invitational at The Club at Old Kinderhook. The Mustangs shot a two-day total of 621 in the event, 26 strokes out of first place.
PROSPER, Texas — The Morningside men’s golf team resumed its season with a sixth-place performance recently at the Texas Invitational at Gentle Creek Golf Course.
The Mustangs turned in a team score of 595, three shots ahead of Jamestown. Ryan Cavanaugh was the leading golfer for Morningside, as he was tied for second with a 36-hole score of 146.
LINCOLN, NEB. – The Mustangs fought through three rounds of tough competition this week at the Blue River Classic, hosted by Doane University at the Highlands Golf Course. Morningside placed fifth in the contest, posting a combined score of 880 strokes.
