Storey recognized by NAIA

Morningside University's men's golf program received its fourth National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' All-American award with the 2022 teams release Tuesday, May 24.

Senior Sam Storey (Surrey, England) joined Corey Matthey (2021) and Brand Thompson (2012/2013) in receiving the accolade. He was tabbed a third-team selection by the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches All-America Committee.

Storey adds the All-American recognition to a 2021-22 campaign in which he was co-Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of Year and a PING/Golf Coaches Association of America all-Central Region selection.
