Mustangs compete in Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge
LAWRENCE, KAN. – Morningside’s men’s bowling team was back in action this weekend, competing in the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge. The Mustangs placed 15th in the event, competing under tough conditions and among a competitive field.

Morningside totaled 7,023 pins during the two day event, led individually by Dylan Hamil, who rolled a five-game total of 925, including a 196 pin game. Hamil was followed by Darren Stein, who totaled 856 pins, tallying 202 in his fourth game.
Josh Bern, Seth Nelson, and Caleb Martin rounded out Morningside's top five scores, rolling a 765, 751, and 737, respectively.
The Mustangs are in Hastings, Neb. on Nov. 5 and 6, competing in the Bronco Invite.
