Morningside comes up short in loss to DII Bearcats
MARYVILLE, MO. – Head coach Trent Miller knew that his Mustangs were going to have to play up when he scheduled the reigning NCAA DII national champions on this year’s schedule, but Miller’s Mustangs didn’t shy away from the challenge, remaining within 10 points of their opponents for much of the first half. The Bearcats would pull away late in the first half, continuing through the break, on the way to handing Morningside a 82-58 loss.
