Head coach Trent Miller's squad was one of more than 300 programs from around the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA to be named a Team Academic Excellence awardee. The yearly honor recognizes teams that completed the 2021-22 academic year with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Graduated seniors Trey Brown (Gretna, Neb.), Collin Hill (Jewell, Iowa), Will Hurd (Storm Lake, Iowa), Zach Imig (Gretna, Neb.) and Tyler Vavrina (Abie, Neb.) joined rising seniors Trey Powers (Omaha, Neb.) and Will Pottebaum (LeMars, Iowa) as Court of Honors designees. The recognition includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2021-22 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
