Sellon Named First-Team AFCA All-American

WACO, Texas – Drew Sellon is the latest Mustang to join the ranks of American Football Coaches Association All-Americans, the AFCA announced today, as member coaches selected Sellon for the AFCA All-America First Team.

A junior wide receiver from Fremont, Neb., Sellon led Morningside's receiving corps with 1,360 yards across 77 catches this season, finding the end zone a career high, and NAIA-leading, to date, 18 times. Sellon's 123.6 yards per game also leads the country.

The AFCA's NAIA All-America Selection Committee is made up of two head coaches from each of the AFCA's seven districts, who rank players within their districts. Designees from each district then select the individual teams based on these rankings.
