Morningside earns NAIA Championship Series No. 2 seed
Morningside University’s football program, fresh off an 11th straight Great Plains Athletic Conference championship, makes its 18th successive appearance in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Championship that begins Saturday, Nov. 20. They are the No. 2 seed in the 16-team field.

Head coach Steve Ryan's Mustangs, ranked No. 2 on the final NAIA First Down Playbook coaches Top 25 with a 10-0 record, host Ottawa University of Arizona. The Spirit, sporting an 8-1 record, are the champions of the Sooner Athletic Conference. Kickoff is 12 p.m. Central Standard Time at Elwood Olsen Stadium.
