Ten-time defending champions lead GPAC preseason coaches poll

Morningside University's 10-time defending Great Plains Athletic Conference champion football program was picked for a repeat with the release of the league's preseason coaches poll on August 9.

Head coach Steve Ryan's Mustangs received 98 poll points, featuring eight first-place votes, to stand atop the list. Northwestern College (93 points – three first-place votes) and Dordt University (82 poll points) rounded out a tightly-packed first three.
