Bio
Art Van Wyngarden set a North Central Conference record in the 220-yard low hurdles in 1932 with a 24.0 clocking. The 1933 graduate was a four-year letterwinner on the Maroons track squad, competing for coach Jason Saunderson, and set school records in the low, and high hurdles. He competed in the 1932 national track meet in Chicago, qualifying for the finals.
