Bio

Adolph “Bud” Van Citters participated in football, basketball, and track for four seasons at Morningside, excelling in each. The Orange City, Iowa, native served as captain of the 1926 basketball team, leading the squad to its first North Central Conference championship with a 10-3 overall record. He was named to the first-team All-NCC, and All-Iowa Conference honor squads that season.

Van Citters played end on the football team, and handled the weight events on the track team. He placed third in the shot put at the NCC track meet as a senior.
