Bio
A three-year letterman, Jim Rupert capped off an outstanding football career by being named to the All-North Central Conference football squad in 1966. The 6-1, 255-pound nose tackle was also selected to play in the Iowa Senior All-Star game that season.
The Ida Grove, Iowa, native was also a member of coach Arnie Brandt’s wrestling squad. The accounting major went on to a long career in sales, starting first with Look Magazine, and then 25 years with KCAU-TV in Sioux City. He was active in the Rivercade, Sioux City Chamber of Commerce, and Abu Bekr Shrine organizations in Sioux City.
