Bio
Colby Henderson, 2013, was a nuisance to opposing offenses for three seasons under Steve Ryan, picking off 20 passes for 472 yards and breaking up another 20 pass attempts in his career. He had 124 tackles, with 175 total tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Henderson’s speed and deception made him a natural fit as the deep man on kick returns, returning 28 kicks for 802 yards and a career record 28.6 yards per return. Henderson holds 10 regular season, postseason, and single game records, was a three-time First Team GPAC All-Conference honoree, GPAC Defensive Player of the Year, and an AFCA and NAIA All-American.
