Bio

Bill Enockson played baseball at Morningside from 1947-51, was a four-year letterwinner, and pitcher, and was named the squad’s most valuable player. Enockson went on to a 28-year career in the automotive industry, holding executive positions with General Motors, and Chrysler Motors Corp.

He returned to Morningside in retirement to serve as athletic director, where he helped lead the women’s program to the North Central Conference, and reaffirmed a commitment to Division II athletics. In addition, he worked with scheduling, budgeting, NCAA requirements, facilities, and fund raising.
