Bio
A two-time All-North Central Conference performer in 1963, and 1964, Chuck Dickens scored 938 points in his Morningside basketball career, a school record at the time of his graduation. His career scoring average of 15.1 points per game still ranks among the highest of all Maroon hoopsters.
Dickens helped Morningside to third place in the NCC in 1964, and an overall record of 11-10 by scoring 19.6 points per game. He made 12-12 free throws in a contest against Mankato State in 1963. After graduation, he taught and coached in Sioux City schools for nearly 40 years.
