The Robert "Bob" Miller Academic Student Athlete of the Year Award is presented annually to a senior male and female student who has demonstrated outstanding academic and athletic performance during their Morningside career.
This award is named after Robert "Bob" Miller '55, who was a senior letter winner on the Morningside 1954 North Central Conference championship football team. Bob served ad Director of Admissions at Morningside from 1959-68 and as Alumni Relations Director from 1968-74. He later served on the National Alumni Board.
Bob is remembered as a dedicated athletic booster and advocate of Morningside.
