NAIA announces indoor track and field, dance national championship qualifiers

Morningside University's competitive dance team and a combined four men's and women's indoor track and field events were named qualifiers for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championships late last week.
Head coach Alisha Knowler's Mustangs dance squad, the 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference, and NAIA Northwest National Qualifier champions make their sixth straight national meet appearance. Head coach Dave Nash's indoor track and field program is represented by senior Emalee Fundermann (Anthon, Iowa) in the 800, the women's 4x800 meter relay, sophomore Austin Freiberg (Sergeant Bluff, Iowa) in the 60-meter hurdles, and senior Ro Paschal (Mancos, Colo.) in the mile.
The 2022 NAIA indoor track and field championships are Thursday through Saturday, March 3-5, at South Dakota State University's Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, S.D. The 2022 NAIA competitive dance championships are Friday and Saturday, March 11-12, at the Concordia University of Michigan in Ypsilanti, Mich.
